Locations refer to the Locations in which you operate or are part of the Change Management Programme. This could be an Office, Call Centre, Factory etc. For Example: United Kingdom, Australia and America.
There are pre-existing Locations within Serendata but they can be fully edited to reflect the Locations in which your Organisation operate. Each Business Area can be expanded out to input Sub Business Areas. For Example: United Kingdom β London and Newcastle.
Once Locations have been entered, they can be pulled through onto the Action and Impact Grids within Serendata.

Searching for an Existing Location
If there is a long list of pre-existing Locations, it is possible to perform a search for the required Location.

1 | Click Note: The Cog displays all sections that need to be completed in order. |
2 | Select Core Data. |
3 | Select Locations from the Sub Menu. |

4 | Click in the Search field. |
5 | Type the name of the Location that you require. For Example: United Kingdom. As you partially type, Serendata will highlight all Business and Sub Business Area relating to your search in Blue. The more you input, the more refined the search results will be. |
6 | Select the required Location. |
Add a New Location
To add a new Location in Serendata:

This activates a new Location field at the bottom of the list. This field will have a bright blue line under the field.

The new Location will appear as the last option within the tree.
Add a New Location
To add to a sub-Location under an existing Location:
