Labels are an organisational tool that allows you to attach additional notes to an element within Serendata. For Example: This could be to an Action or Impact. Labels provide extra information that might not be included elsewhere in Insight.

Accessing Labels
Step | Action |
1 | Click Note: The Cog displays all sections that need to be completed in order. |
2 | Select Core Data. |
3 | Select Labels option from the Sub Menu. |
Searching for a Label
If there is a long list of pre-existing labels, it is possible to perform a search to locate the required label.

1 | Click in the Search field. |
2 | Type the name of the label you require. Note: As you partially type, Serendata will highlight all labels relating to your search criteria. |
Creating a New Label
To create a new label in Serendata, first you must make sure you are in a project:

4 | Select the Project Settings menu option. |

5 | Scroll down to the section titled Labels. |
6 | Click in the Labels field. |

7 | Type the name of the new label you wish to create |

8 | Press the Enter key on your keyboard. Note: On clicking Enter, the Label will change to blue in colour. This confirms that the Label has been saved. |
9 | Select a programme by typing within the Choose programme search field Note: your programme should already be set. |

On returning to the main Labels screen, the newly created Label will be displayed on screen.
Editing a Label
To edit a Label, follow the below steps:

This icon represents Delete. This icon allows pre-existing data to be deleted from Serendata. |
