Create and Maintain Labels

The purpose of this article is to detail what labels and how to use them throughout Serendata.

Labels are an organisational tool that allows you to attach additional notes to an element within Serendata. For Example: This could be to an Action or Impact. Labels provide extra information that might not be included elsewhere in Insight.

This article details how to:

  • Access Label

  • Search for a Label

  • Create a new Label

  • Edit a Label

  • Delete a Label

Accessing Labels

Click in the bottom left-hand corner of the Home Screen.

Note: The Cog displays all sections that need to be completed in order.

Select Core Data.

Select Labels option from the Sub Menu.

Searching for a Label

If there is a long list of pre-existing labels, it is possible to perform a search to locate the required label.

Click in the Search field.

Type the name of the label you require.

Note: As you partially type, Serendata will highlight all labels relating to your search criteria.

Creating a New Label

To create a new label in Serendata, first you must make sure you are in a project:

Click the button beside SELECT A PROJECT at the top of the screen.

Select your required Project.

Click in the bottom left-hand corner of the Home Screen.

Select the Project Settings menu option.

Scroll down to the section titled Labels.

Click in the Labels field.

Type the name of the new label you wish to create

Press the Enter key on your keyboard.

Note: On clicking Enter, the Label will change to blue in colour. This confirms that the Label has been saved.

Select a programme by typing within the Choose programme search field

Note: your programme should already be set.

Click .

On returning to the main Labels screen, the newly created Label will be displayed on screen.

Editing a Label

To edit a Label, follow the below steps:

Click that corresponds to the Label you wish to Edit.

A range of additional icons will be displayed. Those being:

Core Data

Description

This icon represents Edit.

This allows data that has already been entered into the system to be edited.

This icon represents Delete.

This icon allows pre-existing data to be deleted from Serendata.

Edit the name of the Label as required.

Deleting a Label

To delete a label, follow the steps below:

Click to delete the required Label.

The following system message will be displayed.

Click to confirm the deletion.
