Use this reference to identify commonly used Serendata interface icons and understand what each control does. The guide is split into general icons used across the platform and icons specific to the Diagnostic Editor.

General Icons
These controls appear across Serendata data grids and reporting views.
1 | Back | Returns you from a data grid to the reporting view you most recently used. |
1 | Create | Creates a new record wherever user-created data can be added in Serendata. |
1 | Exports a data grid to a CSV file so it can be emailed to an address of your choice. |
1 | Delete | Deletes the selected data. |
1 | Link | Links one Serendata data element to another. For example, you can link an Action to an Impact. |
1 | Edit | Opens previously created data so that you can make changes. |
GENERAL ICONS
1 | Export | Exports the selected data to a CSV file. |
1 | Duplicate | Creates a duplicate of the selected data. |
1 | Upload | Uploads CSV files from outside Serendata to populate supported data grids. |
1 | Text Wrap | Wraps or unwraps larger blocks of user-created text within Serendata. |
1 | Clear Filter | Clears filters that you have applied within Serendata. |
1 | Reset Column | Resets adjusted column orders to their default state. |
GENERAL ICONS
1 | Column Options | Opens column options, including sizing, filtering and which columns are visible in the current data grid. |
1 | Column Filter | Opens filtering options for the selected column. |
1 | Viewable Column | Lets you choose which columns are visible. These changes can be cleared using the reset filters control. |
1 | Report Filtering | Lets you customise the information shown in the reporting view you are currently using. |
1 | Options | Opens the options menu for the area of Serendata you are currently working in. |
Diagnostic Editor Icons
These controls are used when configuring the structure, behaviour and presentation of a diagnostic.
1 | General Information | Change diagnostic information such as the name, description and default language. |
1 | Diagnostic Header | Import an image for the diagnostic header and adjust the image parameters. |
1 | Diagnostic Navigation | Adjust diagnostic layouts and button placements. |
1 | Question Settings | Adjust question parameters and alignments. |
1 | Page Settings | Create custom page headers and page numbers. |
1 | Diagnostic Conditions | Adjust previously created custom diagnostic variables and triggers. |
DIAGNOSTIC EDITOR ICONS
1 | Diagnostic Data | Adjust diagnostic data update timings and auto-save options. |
1 | Diagnostic Validation | Set question and answer validation parameters. |
1 | Thank You Page | Create a custom final page for people who complete the diagnostic. |
1 | Quiz Mode | Set a timer for the diagnostic. |
