Read PeopleSignal at a glance
PeopleSignal gives the people side of change a single score out of 10. The score is built from three dimensions: Audience Readiness, Stakeholder Engagement and Change Delivery. On a Project dashboard, the PeopleSignal bar shows the selected Wave or Overall view, the current score and its status.

Expand the score breakdown
The expanded view shows the overall PeopleSignal score alongside the three dimensions that contribute to it. Use Wave or Overall to change the scope, and use Present or Historical to switch between the current position and earlier scores.
Figure 2. Expanded PeopleSignal overview
Each dimension displays its own score and status. Select a dimension to drill into the signals behind it. A high-level status can show as On Track, Potential Risk or At Risk depending on the score and any warning flags underneath it.
Review Change Delivery
Change Delivery shows how the change work itself is progressing. Its drill-down highlights delivery signals including Actions Overdue, Actions Late to Start, Impact End-date Overdue and Milestone Overdue.
Figure 3. Change Delivery drill-down
Use the individual signals to identify where delivery activity needs attention. The score reflects the underlying actions, impacts and milestones rather than a separate manual rating.
Review Audience Readiness
Audience Readiness shows how prepared your audiences are to adopt the change. The score is built from the readiness dimensions Awareness, Understanding, Commitment, Acquire and Apply.
Figure 4. Audience Readiness drill-down
Select a readiness signal to investigate it further. If a dimension shows Calibrating, there is not yet a score for that area - for example, required information may still be missing or survey responses may not yet have been received. Calibrating does not count as zero.
Review Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholder Engagement shows how strongly stakeholders are supporting the change. The score is based on Commitment, Sentiment and Receptiveness.
Figure 5. Stakeholder Engagement drill-down
Select any signal to see what sits behind the result. Stakeholder engagement reflects the current assessment of the stakeholder, so these ratings should be kept up to date as their position changes.
Drill through to the underlying data
Select any PeopleSignal dimension or signal to drill through to the data view that the score is derived from. This lets you move from the headline score to the individual records influencing the result and identify where attention is needed.
Figure 6. Stakeholder Engagement Sentiment data drill-through
In this example, selecting the Potential Risk 9.36/10 Sentiment signal from Stakeholder Engagement opens the Stakeholders PeopleSignal data view. The table shows the Stakeholder Engagement score alongside the Receptiveness, Commitment and Sentiment values for each stakeholder, making it clear which underlying records are contributing to the result.
View historical performance
Switch to Historical to review how PeopleSignal has changed over time. The chart plots the overall score and the three dimensions, helping you see whether the people side of change is improving, holding steady or moving towards risk.
Figure 7. Historical PeopleSignal view
Use the Wave or Overall selector to control the scope of the history you are reviewing. Scoring update markers provide context for changes in the displayed results.
Remember
The number shows the overall level, while the status highlights whether something underneath the score needs attention. Wherever a PeopleSignal score is available in Serendata, select it to see the breakdown and trace the result back to the underlying signals.
