Harnessing the support of leadership teams and senior leaders is key to successful Business Transformation. A well-aligned group of senior leaders, who are strongly supported at an executive level, is critical to success. When capturing your Stakeholders in Insight be sure to enter all leaders that you need to provide the sponsorship and advocacy for your change to succeed.
Support of leaders must not be taken for granted; rather, work must be done to ensure that everyone agrees the case for the change and the plan for implementing it.
Once you have identified your senior stakeholders, continue to identify any individuals or audience groups that are expected to be impacted by your change.
In Insight, Stakeholders can either be created as individuals or audiences.
Individual: A named stakeholder, typically with a high level of influence within the organisation, who needs to have engagement tracked to ensure the success of the change initiative.
Audience: A group of people who will be impacted by the change initiative, but don’t need to be tracked individually.
Anyone with Owner or Contributor permission to the Organisation can edit Stakeholders information, or add new Stakeholders, at any time.
