Insight helps you manage your Stakeholders on their journey of change. Some instances will lend themselves better to creating an Audience and some will favour a Stakeholder List. So what's the difference?

A Stakeholder Audience is a collection of people that will be impacted by a change, but don’t need to be named individually.

A Stakeholder List is made up of any number of Stakeholder Individuals and Audiences already defined within the Organisation. The Lists are set up at an Organisation level, to be used by any Project within that Organisation.

So, when do Stakeholder Lists come in handy? Stakeholder Lists can be used to easily add a common grouping of individual Stakeholders to impacts or actions.

If, however, you need to track a group of people but don't need to engage with them on an individual level, then creating an audience will be your best option.
