Impact Types

Within Organisation Settings, you are able to set up your own Impact Types and Action Types. Similar to Action Types, this is so you can customise the way you sort your Impacts to match your current Organisation definitions. There are six pre-set Impact Types, which are as follows:

  • Capability

  • Capacity

  • Cultural/Behavioural

  • Facilities/Logistics

  • Organisation/Role

  • Systems & Technology

These are the pre-set ones that we include, but they are all customisable and removable, so if you wish to change or remove them, you can.

When editing or adding a new Impact Type, there is a weighting associated with each. This signifies how much of an Impact this type will have on the Programme/Organisation. This will affect your overall reporting through the system, including RAG statuses and heat charts.

It’s important to assign the correct weighting to your Impact Types to increase the accuracy of the system.

Note: This can be changed at any point, but it’s good to establish within your team what you think is the correct weighting for each Impact Type you use.

Note: You can also now filter your Impacts via the new Impact Types.
