To clear the local application cache on Google Chrome, follow the below steps:
Open the application in the Google Chrome browser
Click the three dots at the top right of the browser (shown below)
From the displayed menu, select More tools then Developer tools (shown below)
The Developer Tools window will be displayed (shown below)
From the tabs in the Developer Tools window, select Application (shown below)
Select Storage then press the button Clear site data (shown below)
The Developer Tools can now be closed and the page reloaded
The cache within the application will now be cleared.
