Within the system, you are now able to view a real-time action plan that is autonomously populated from your actions. This is to easily visualise when actions need to happen, the different types of actions happening concurrently, and anything that is potentially behind the timeline.

How it works

As you are populating your actions, you will notice that the action plan will also begin populating. The system will pull the data through to the action plan, and you will then be able to visualise your actions on a timeline.

NOTE: The Action Plan will only show actions that have dates set.

Filters

You are able to filter your view of the timeline based on the following variables:

Your Action Types (this is our list, but these will be the Action types your organisation uses):

  • Communication

  • Data

  • Training

  • Org design

  • Technology

  • People

Action Status:

  • Not started

  • In progress

  • Completed

  • Overdue

At the top of the timeline, you have the option to select filters from either of the above variables. You are also able to combine filters, for example; Communication and Overdue, which would only show you actions on the timeline that are communications actions and are currently overdue.

Easily enabling you to find the data you need and know exactly where you need to prioritise your time.

Data gap analysis

At the top of the screen, we show two data gap variables. This is to enable you to know how complete this data set is.

Gap analysis (dates) - This shows you the total Actions percentage that are being shown on the report and the total percentage that aren't due to missing their dates.

Gap analysis (ACTION TYPE) - Communication, for example. This reports only shows when you are filtering by one of your Actions types. This shows you the total percentage of Actions being shown on the timeline and the total percentage not being shown due to missing their Action Type and dates.

Having these two data gap reports helps ensure accuracy throughout the timeline, as well as enabling you to know what you may not know yet but is important to find out.

For example, if the timeline is only showing you 50% of your actions, this would mean that you need to find out the dates for the remainder in order to have an accurate overview of all the actions that are being undertaken.
